Our Approach

We are committed to helping our clients and the community live happier, healthier, and more productive lives through evidence-based counseling practices and prevention program development services.

Our Story

Our programs were started in 1987 in the community of Glendive, MT.  Later we expanded into Sidney, Circle, and Terry MT.  Our goal was to provide quality Chemical Dependency Counseling programs to Northeast Montana where rural services are limited.  We strive everyday to fulfill this goal.

Meet our Team

Our counselors are SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) certified and the program is approved for DOT violations.  Counselors are talented, engaged counselors who place client recovery as a top priority.

Our prevention specialists are qualified in SAPTS and help communities develop evidence-based prevention programs specific to each community's need.

I was asked to join DII in 2017 and it has been a great ride.  I have learned so  much about our communities and how our prevention programs make a positive impact on our youth and adults.

This place is so friendly and the way the treat clients is amazing.  Addiction isn't easy to overcome and live with but the counselors at DII really take the time to create something special for each client.
